Visiting Eden

Cornwall is one of the UK’s favourite holiday destinations. The stunning scenery and rugged coastline, relaxed pace of life and rich history all conspire to make a memorable holiday. It’s perennially popular with everyone from artists to surfers. One of Cornwall’s most iconic modern attractions is the Eden Project, near St. Austell. Its space age biomes, packed with incredible tropical planting, sit in stark contrast to the surrounding countryside. The amazing variety of plants creates an indoor rainforest that must be seen to be believed. There’s also loads of interesting activities for younger visitors, good amenities and extensive gardens surrounding the site. The smaller biome houses planting from desert and temperate zones. If plants and gardens aren’t your thing, the domes offer a spectacular backdrop for various music and art events held throughout the year. There’s even an ice rink on site during the winter months, so it’s worth a look all year round.
