Budgeting for a trip

If you are able to go on holiday this year, you may have blown a lot of your budget on the flights and accommodation and therefore need to restrict the amount you spend whilst you are away. Planning is often the best way to save money. Organising transport to and from the airport in advance can often save you a small bundle. Planning activities to do that are either free or low cost will mean all the family get to spend time together without worrying about running out of money. Try and not use your credit and debit cards whilst abroad as you may find that you get charged a fee when you are abroad for withdrawing money.

Food and drink is also a huge cost when away, so buying in some supplies such as bread, cheese, milk, cereal, fruit and other snacks will mean that you can have breakfast and even lunch in your apartment rather than eating out for every meal.
