It’s certainly not ‘Grim up North’

With beautiful places like the scenic setting of Bolton Abbey and jaw dropping views of the Yorkshire dales it’s quite hard to see where the phrase ‘It’s Grim up North’ actually came from!
Yorkshire offers some truly stunning countryside alongside the hustle and bustle of busy city life in Leeds, it really does have something for everyone.
There are plenty of things to do with the family such as visit the spectacular White Scar Caves, these underground caves really are a must see and you can’t help feeling excited as you rush down the mine-like shaft kitted out with your hard hat and torch. Crawling through low tunnels and drinking from fresh springs this really does feel like an adventure!
And if you don’t fancy grubbing around in the caves then a trip to one of the many museums in Yorkshire will certainly make your day. The national coal mining museum is fascinating with lots for children to do and learn as you go round.
So put on your walking boots and head to Yorkshire for some fresh air and beautiful scenery, you won’t regret it!
